Post-Surgical Aftercare — Post Lymphatic Drainage
All body surgery procedures at La Belle Forme — including liposuction, tummy tuck, VASER liposuction, arm lift, thigh lift and fat transfer — produce post-surgical swelling and fluid retention as part of the natural healing process. How this swelling is managed during recovery has a direct impact on comfort, results and recovery time.
La Belle Forme now offers Post Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) as part of our body surgery aftercare programme. MLD is a gentle, specialist technique that stimulates the lymphatic system to clear post-surgical fluid, reduce swelling and prevent complications such as fibrosis and seromas. It is available at all three of our HIS-registered clinics across Scotland.
