What is Breast Augmentation Mastopexy?
Breast augmentation mastopexy is a combination of two procedures: a breast lift (mastopexy) and breast enlargement using implants. It is designed for individuals who wish to correct sagging while also increasing breast volume.
At La Belle Forme, our experienced cosmetic surgeons tailor the surgery to your body and aesthetic goals. The lift repositions and reshapes the breast tissue, while implants restore volume and upper pole fullness. This procedure is ideal after pregnancy, weight loss, or natural ageing changes that affect breast shape and firmness.
We offer a full consultation to discuss the types of implants available, incision options, and expected outcomes — all with your safety and preferences in mind.
What Happens During Surgery?
Your journey begins with an in-depth consultation where your surgeon will examine your breasts, take measurements, and help you choose the implant type, size, and shape. You’ll also discuss lift techniques and scar placement.
On the day of surgery:
- Performed under general anaesthetic
- The surgeon lifts the breast tissue and removes excess skin
- Implants are placed either above or below the muscle
- The nipple may be repositioned to sit higher on the breast
You’ll return home the same day or stay overnight depending on your case.
Is This Procedure Right For Me?
This treatment may be suitable if you:
- Have sagging breasts and want increased volume
- Have lost shape after pregnancy, breastfeeding, or weight loss
- Desire fuller breasts with better lift and symmetry
It may not be suitable if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have unmanaged health concerns. All candidates must undergo a full medical assessment before surgery.
- Lifted, fuller breasts with improved shape and position
- More youthful and balanced body proportions
- Customised results using the implants and lift techniques best suited to you
- Performed by qualified surgeons in regulated surgical settings
As with any surgery, there are risks. These will be fully discussed during your consultation. They may include:
- Scarring and changes in nipple sensation
- Infection or implant-related complications
- Asymmetry or dissatisfaction with shape/size
- Rare risk of implant rupture or capsular contracture
We use premium implants and strict clinical protocols to reduce risks and prioritise your safety.

FAQ's
Breast implants are not lifetime devices. They may last 10–15 years or longer. Routine monitoring and optional replacement may be required in the future.
Yes, but they fade over time. Scar placement varies by technique — commonly around the areola and vertically down the breast. Our team will provide full scar care advice.
Some individuals may retain breastfeeding ability, but it can be affected. This will be discussed thoroughly with your surgeon.
Initial results are visible immediately, but swelling and implant settling take 3–6 months. Scars will continue to fade for up to a year.
